%0 Journal Article %T The Effects of Cognitive Behavioral Group Counseling Among University Students on Negative Automatic Thoughts and Dysfunctional Attitude %A Muhammed Y£¿ld£¿z %J - %D 2018 %X In this study, the effects of cognitive behavioral groups counseling on negative automatic thoughts and dysfunctional attitudes in university students were investigated. The research was carried out in the academic year of 2017-2018. The research was conducted with university students studying in Gaziantep. Automatic Thoughts Questionnare Scale and Dysfunctional Attitudes Scale were applied to the students. Before studying, 115 student scales were applied. 22 students with the highest scores were selected for the study. Students are divided into two groups with similar arithmetic mean and standard deviations (11 students experimental group, 11 students control group). Cognitive behavioral groups counseling with 6 sessions was applied to the experiment group. Mann Whitney U Test and Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test were used for statistical analysis.
