%X £¿Signal proteins that play a critical role in cell cycle, gene expression, growth, differentiation and apoptosis play a key role in the transport of biological information between cells and the formation of an appropriate cellular response. Disturbance of these systems that provide signal transmission and termination may lead to many diseases. In recent years, signal proteins which better understood have been identified as responsible for a large part of diseases. Therefore, it has been understood that more comprehensive studies should be done on the underlying cell signaling mechanisms underlying many metabolic and genetic diseases such as cancer. The recent discoveries concerning the activation, regulation and signal transduction of signal protein components appear promising for the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of future diseases
