%X Contrary to international agreements and United Nations resolutions, and with only domestic political calculations, US President Donald Trump¡¯s definition of Jerusalem as the official capital of Israel on 6 December 2017, despite all the reactions from the Islamic world, and that the US Embassy in Tel Aviv The great reaction from the world has been seen as a coup for collective and ultimate peace. The Russian official news agency ¡®TASS¡¯ was taken as a sample to look at how this step towards the peaceful living of the peoples and beliefs in the framework of equal rights is seen in the media. The problem of the research is the question of how the United States decided to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, and by whom, and how the TASS news agency, the official news agency of the Russian press, conveyed these news to its readers. In the study, it is aimed to reveal the reflection statistic of the decision of the United States to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel in the Russian press. The internet version of TASS News Agency in the sample was benefited and the obtained data was analyzed and interpreted. The importance of the research is considered to be the first study conducted on the Russian press and it is considered to be the source of literature. News that was published twenty-five day time period between 1 February 2018 and 25 February 2018 is created limitation of research. Following the US¡¯s decision to recognize Jerusalem as capital of £¿sreal £¿n the Russian media especially take part in the sample TASS News Agency of due to news to be intensified and and that the limitations of the time caused that limited were materialize within these twenty-five day timeframes.
