%X While the number of private security companies in Turkey increases rapidly, the functions of the state increases as well. In parallel with this, however, there is no decrease in security issues. In addition to the lack of legislation and personnel in Turkey, people are losing the power to struggle for their security due to problems such as education, equipment, autonomy and supervision. Moreover, there has not been enough research made about the phenomenon of private security in Turkey until now. In this study, the answer to the problems of private security services in Turkey has been sought. Based on the concept of management and security, the privatization and organization of security services have been mentioned within the main functions of management. Finally, issues of the private security system in our country have been raised by taking the areas, duties and authorities of the private security system into consideration. All these issues are important in order to shed light on the solution of the problems in security services that have caused great losses in Turkey for many years
