%X The aim of this study is to examine the positive and negative aspects of children's computer and internet usage from the eyes of parents. The study was carried out with the parents of 145 children in Tokat province. The interview form developed by the researcher was used in the study. This study is a descriptive survey which is based on quantitative data analysis. The data in the valid interview form were transferred to the computer and the data were analyzed in SPSS program. At the end of the study, parents stated that the computer was mostly found in the study room, living room and living room at home. What are the positive aspects of parents using computers? most of the question "Provides Access to Information" gave the answer. What are the negative aspects of using computers? '' Health negatively affects '' most of the answer to the question. Parents; what are the positive aspects of using the internet? '' Provides Easy and Fast Access to Information '' is the answer to the question. The question of what are the negative aspects of using the Internet is the answer to the most '' harmful content that is not suitable for children's age and development ''
