%0 Journal Article %T VIEWS OF MUSIC TEACHERS FOR 2017-2018 PRIMARY EDUCATIONS CURRICULUM %A Yasemin B£¿RG¨¹L %A Zeki NACAKCI %J - %D 2019 %X As known, Ministry of National Education modernizes and updates the curriculums used during formal education process in accordance with improving and changing worldwide conditions. Within this context, it has modernized the Music lesson curriculums in Middle Schools to apply dating from 2017-2018 and has started to apply them in related institutions. Accordingly, in this study the attainments, functionality, consistency with national educational policies, etc. of ¡°the Music lesson curriculums in Middle Schools¡± are aimed to examine in accordance with the views of Music teachers. The views of Music teachers at middle schools in Mardin province and its central districts were taken into consideration in the study. The semi-structured interview method was used, and content analysis for the acquired data was made. With the interview method used in this study, the approaches and views of music teachers for the new music lesson curriculum have been determined and the related expectations and suggestions have been tried to identify.
