Sedentary lifestyle and unconscious consumption of food leads to an increase in the metabolic syndrome. Today, MetS can be seen in all age groups such as childhood, adolescent and adults. Optimal nutrition and healthy lifestyle are the most important and effective approach in the prevention and treatment of MetS. It is stated that bioactive food components naturally found in naturally in foods are effective for combating against MetS especially with various mechanisms and being studied as a new approach in the prevention of MetS. The increasing prevalence of MetS in the world and our country requires significant planning towards the monitoring of serious national and international policies for the prevention of the disease. In this review, it is aimed to evaluate the results of some bioactive compounds found in foods which prevent digestion and absorption by the inhibition of the enzyme, some of the food accelerates the hunger and satiety mechanisms effects to evaluate the results of research with MetS inhibiting effects %K Metabolik sendrom %K Diyet %K Biyoaktif bile£¿en %U http://dergipark.org.tr/akademik-gida/issue/38683/449624
