%X In this study, Blockchain technology, which is becoming increasingly popular and is still the foundation of virtual money applications, has been considered. This technology can be described as a distributed record management system that does not require a trusted centre. In our study, we investigated the fundamental differences between the traditional transaction method and the technologies that bring about the concept of the blockchain. Then, it is explained how to make the blocks constituting the blockchain structure and how the transfer operations are performed. The last part of the study is devoted to software solutions and information about the application areas planned to be used in the near future
