%0 Journal Article %T SEMIOTICAL ANALYSE OF VALUES WHICH LOCATED IN TEXTBOOK OF EDUCATION OF REL£¿G£¿ON AND ETHICS 8 %A ¨¹beydullah P£¿LAT£¿N %J - %D 2018 %X When we consider values education, programmes of instruction and textbooks beside lessons and disciplines within the frame of values education acquisition of some values reflect today¡¯s educational understanding. When curriculum and content of lessons considered with regard to teaching values, naturally lessons about religion are more appropriate. Aim of religion is to grow people who have values and it is known that in content of religious resource there are a lot of values. There are values of justice, friendship, honesty, self-control, patience, resbonsibility, patriotism, charity in syllabus of education of religion and ethics 8 and how these values reflected in textbook examined in this study. In this study values examined by semiotic approach. Semiotics is science of signs. It research about process of meaning, adopt itself to developments and it is about communication. For analyse of values a well known scientist Charles Sanders Peirce¡¯s triangle is used to find out process of meaning making. Research result showed that visual resource are deficient, some signs don¡¯t reflect values clearly.
