%X After the early years of the early Republican period, with the reduction of the effects of the war and the strengthening of the new system created, the basic structures such as Republic Square, municipality building, government building, community house, bank, school started to be constructed as symbol of the Republic. In order to establish a fast and efficient transport line, followed by the central government and local city governments of the founding of the Republic of Turkey, it was followed by an active railway policy. Thus, the construction of the railway line as the most important zoning movement of the cities in the Republic period, the construction of the stations, station buildings and the General Directorate of State Railways has come into question. In this study, in parallel with the development of railways in Turkey, respectively, after the historical process of the development process of the city of Gaziantep, Gaziantep Train Station and today re-use planning, history and recommendations were discussed the current situation.
