%0 Journal Article %T INVESTIGATION OF THE VALUE JUDGMENTS OF VOCATIONAL SCHOOL STUDENTS %A Ahmet akif Erba£¿ %J - %D 2018 %X In this study, it is aimed to determine what values are the values which direct the behaviors of the college students. In this context, a descriptive study was conducted to determine what the current situation is. The population of this research consisted of 1379 students studying in Bulent Ecevit University Ahmet Erdo£¿an Health Services Vocational School at 2016¨C2017 academic year and the sample consisted of 349 students. ¡®The Schwartz Value Scale¡¯ which was developed by Schwartz (1992) and adapted to Turkish by Ku£¿dil and Ka£¿£¿t£¿£¿ba£¿£¿ (2000) was used as data Collection tool in the research. The SPSS 16 statistical program was used in the analysis of the data, and the relationship between the sub-value types and the main value types and the variables in the Schwartz Value Scale were determined. Unrelated group t-test from parametric tests was used to compare the values of two groups. According to the results of t-test, there a significant difference in favor of women between hedonism and self-esteem sub-types and sex change. A significant difference was found between universality and benevolence sub-value types and classroom variables in favor of 1st grade students.
