%0 Journal Article %T Life Quality And Depress£¿on in Patients With Multiple Sclerosis Receiving Treatment at Harran University %A Fatma Ersin %J - %D 2018 %X Objective: This descriptive study was conducted for the purpose of determining the life quality and depression in patients with Multiple Sclerosis receiving treatment at Harran University. Methods: The study sample consisted of 45 patients diagnosed with MS that were receiving treatment at Harran University Medical Faculty Research and Application Hospital Neurological Diseases Clinic, were followed in polyclinics and accepted to participate in the study. The data were analyzed by using descriptive statistics, independent samples t-test and Mann Whitney U test. Results: There was a significant difference between the score averages in the lower dimension of physical role according to the working conditions of patients, the score averages in the lower dimension of physical function according to the state of having children and the score averages in the mental health (p < 0.05).Evaluating in terms of depression; it was determined that 42.2% of patients had the risk of depression. Besides, there was a significant difference between the score averages of the GSA-12 Scale according to patients using and not using subsidiary tools(p£¿0.05).
