%0 Journal Article %T INVESTIGATION OF MUSICAL COMMUNICATION DIMENSIONS OF SPECIAL REQUIRED CHILDREN %A G¨¹lcan BOYRAZ %A Tarkan YAZICI %J - %D 2018 %X The aim of this study is to investigate the dimensions of musical communication of children with special needs in terms of different variables. In this study, in which the screening model was used, the dimensions of musical communication of children with special needs were determined.In the study, "Musical Communication Scale¡± developed by Do£¿ru (2010) was used as data collection tool. Research; The implementation of the Musical Communication Dimension Scale was carried out in 88 parents who participated in the Special Education Family Training Seminar held in Mersin Metropolitan Municipality Special Education School in 2017-2018 academic year and their children need special education. Results showed that; it has been reached that the variables of gender, age, educational status, marital status, number of people living at home, working status, occupation type, place of residence, type of insufficiency, different type of insufficiency, type of education do not make a difference in the level of affecting musical communication dimensions of children with special needs; the level of income of the parents was found to be a result of a significant difference in the level of affecting the musical communication dimensions of the special needy children. These results have led to the conclusion that this difference is in favor of what parents can afford to provide music-related materials, materials and equipment to support children's musical communication dimensions. In this context, the income level of musical communication facilities to support the size of the children of parents with a high level of income in Turkey has reached the conclusion that is more advantageous than low %K £¿zel gereksinimli £¿ocuklar %K m¨¹ziksel ileti£¿im %U http://dergipark.org.tr/ijnase/issue/42139/506964
