%0 Journal Article %T The Examination of High School Students¡¯ Self-Efficacy Levels of Mobile Learning Tools %A Fatma Gizem Karao£¿lan Y£¿lmaz %J - %D 2018 %X The purpose of this research is to assess the self-efficacy level of high school students regarding the usage of mobile learning tools based on grade, gender, the time spent online, and having continuous access to Internet. In the scope of this research, the survey model has been used to evaluate the self-efficacy level regarding the usage of mobile learning tools. The participants of this research consist of 239 students (in 2016-2017 fall term) using mobile learning tools. ¡°Using Mobile Learning Tools Self-Efficacy Scale¡±, consisting of 27 items, and personal information form have been used as data collection tools. According to the results, there is a significant difference on the self-efficacy level of the students based on gender, as male students being more self-efficacy. The time spent online highly affects the level of self-efficacy; the highest level has been observed in students spending 7 hours and more on the Internet. Continuous Internet Access also promotes higher levels of self-efficacy compared to the others.
