%0 Journal Article %T THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN LEG STRENGHT AND AEROBIC ANAEROBIC CAPACITY ON FOOTBALL PLAYERS %J - %D 2018 %X In the field of sport sciences, there are a lot of studies that describe the relationship between aerobic-anaerobic capacity and leg strength. Beside the basic motoric features that affect performance in the football branch, aerobic and anaerobic capacity are also an important factor. The aim of this study is to examine the relationship between leg strength and aerobic-anaerobic capacity of football players. 44 football player participated to this study in Sinop Province Football Teams. The subjects¡¯ age, height, body weight and training year were 18.75 ¡À 0,25 years, 174.16 ¡À 1,55 cm, 69.28 ¡À 0,82 kg, and 7.61 ¡À 0,33 years respectively. Takei isometric leg dynamometer was used to measure leg strength of subjects, 20 m shuttle run test was used for aerobic capacity and RAST (Running-Based Anaerobic Sprint Test) were applied for anaerobic capacity and fatigue index. First, it was determined with Shapiro Wilk and Levene test whether the data showed a normal distribution or not. Spearman¡¯s correloations were used to explore associations between The average leg strength, aerobic capacity and anaerobic fatique index of sublects were found 134,886¡À15,92 kg, 50,07 ¡À 5,84 ml/kg/min and 9,07 ¡À 2,72 w/s respectively. As a result of the analyze, there was no correlation between leg strength-aerobic capacity and leg strength-anaerobic capacity in football palyers p>0.05. There are no relationship leg strength and aerobic-anaerobic capacity. It is recommended that, the future studies be considered with different athlete profiles and training periods %K Bacak Kuvveti %K Aerobik Kapasite %K Anaerobik Kapasite %K Futbol %U http://dergipark.org.tr/ataunibesyo/issue/36466/413351
