%X As a result of the 669 numbered Delegeted Legeslation, which was issued by the Ministerial Cabinet, chaired by the President of Turkey, on 25th of July 2016 in order to take measures under State of Emergency, establish University of National Defence and make changes on some laws,all the Secondary Cadet Schools have been abolished. With this legeslation band education was reduced to two years as Bando Vocational High School, and connected with Bando Officer Vocational High School National Defense University. Hacettepe University Ankara State Conservatory was the only institution providing band conducting education in Turkey. Art Department of Band conducting under Hacettepe University Ankara State Conservatory Composition and Orchestra Conducting Department was mainly based on the Band High School which was one of the Secondary Cadet Schools has been abolished w,th the Delegeted Legislation. However, with the last arrangements made, the band conducting education that Hacettepe University Ankara State Conservatory provides on behalf of the Turkish Armed Forces was abandoned. This research is a descriptive research and it has been tried to use both the review model as a method and examine both the current and past situations with the history of the topic. In this study, it is aimed to outline how band conducting and band performance education has been effected with the final arrangement
