Tug Teams were created not only to be the symbol of sovereignty of the state but also to encourage the soldiers in the wars and threaten the enemy.Military music teams, which were called 'Tab£¿l Teams' after the acceptance of Islam by the Turks in the 10th century, at that time also started to offer concerts called Nevbet hitting at certain times of the day. The tradition of military music continued in the Ottoman period, with the Sultan of Seljuk sending a 'Tab£¿l Teams' to Osman Bey in 1289. These teams who took the name of ¡®Mehter (Janissary Band)¡¯ over time, influenced European music in the 17th and 18th centuries and began to establish bands that resemble mehter in Europe. In the 19th century, this effect reversed. In 1826, The Mehter was closed with the Janissary Corps, and the 'Military Band' was established instead. The first band established with the name of M£¿z£¿ka-i H¨¹mayun (Imperial Band), was soon developed and new bands began to be established. Military bands has become a school of band musician training while performing military music on the one hand. From 1930 onwards systematic training of band schools began to open and develop. Currently, military band music education is still being offered at university level in Turkey, and the band consisting of musicians who are raised here is working to keep the morale of the soldiers and the people at the highest level all over the place %K Bando %K Mehter %K Askeri M¨¹zik %K M£¿z£¿ka %U http://dergipark.org.tr/smead/issue/38164/440779
