Forests are among the most important natural resources. In addition to the economic contribution of our country, forests also make a significant contribution to social life. The aim of modern forestry is to achieve the most appropriate utilization by ensuring the continuity of the forest. In order to achieve this goal, it is not enough to properly raise the forests. Parallel to this, it is necessary to protect the forests against various hazards, to take the necessary measures in a timely manner and to be ready for the battle against the dangers that will occur against these measures. Most forest pests inappropriate weather conditions. For example, the high temperature results in a drought in the soil, which in turn directly affects the tree, causing the trees to weaken and the reproduction of various pests on the trees. Snow, storm, drought, frost and so on. too much tree damage in the forest due to primary factors. These damages are followed by bark beetle disasters, forest fires, other storm damages, and alienation of the soil. Sustainable forest management; envisages securing the potential of forests and forest areas to fulfill their ecological, economic and social functions at the local, national and global levels, their biodiversity, efficiency, self-renewal ability and life-threatening threats to all kinds of threats and threats. Our forests, which are our national wealth, face many abiotic and biotic threats. The illegal cuttings conversion of forest land to other land uses such as cropland and settlement and grazing crimes between 2004-2013 were examined in Mu£żla Regional Directorate of Forestry.
