The author wrote two books. The first, titled £¿Aj¨¡£¿ib al-Me£¿¨¡rib ve Ghar¨¡£¿ib al-Me£¿¨¡rik, is about this Yemen expedition. The scribe committed this work to paper upon request of K¨±j¨¡ Sin¨¡n Pasha who was the chiefcommander of the Ottoman troops dispatched to Yemen to suppress the Zeyd¨© uprising. We now have two copies of this work (full and incomplete), which are accessible. £¿Uthm¨¡n F¨¹t¨±£¿¨© benefited to a considerable extent -as a reference- from N¨¡me-i F¨¹t¨±£¿-£¿ Yemen by Mu£¿£¿af¨¢ Rum¨±z¨©. However, we have additionally found out that F¨¹t¨±£¿¨© narrates some specific information that Rum¨±z¨© doesn¡¯t. F¨¹t¨±£¿¨©¡¯s second work with religious content is called Kenz al-Mewa£¿i£¿. As far as we know, the sole copy is in the Egyptian National Library and Archives.
