%X The introductions to commentary books contains rich content in terms of the Qur£¿¨¡n Sciences and the methodology of commentary. In some of these introductions, the theoretical dimension of commentary is much more advanced than the works which carry the title of methodology of commentary. The introduction that Ab¨± San¨¡ al-I£¿fah¨¡n¨© wrote it for his commentary named Anv¨¡r¨¹¡¯l-Ha£¿¨¡£¿i£¿ draws attention by it¡¯s titles and style. There are titles about the science of fiqh and kal¨¡m with language and Qur£¿¨¡n and meaning and commentary, in the introduction which contains twentythree chapter. As can be seen, this introduction was written on the basis of R¨¡g£¿b al-I£¿fah¨¡n¨©¡¯s work called Muqaddimatu C¨¡mi¨¹t-Taf¨¡s¨©r and used the schematic explanations of this book on the subject level. And Muhyiddin al-K¨¡fiyac¨© created his work at-Tays¨©r on R¨¡g£¿b al-I£¿fah¨¡n¨©¡¯s introduction. This study introduces the missing link of a tradition that examines the commentary in philosophical dimension and analyzes the contribution of Ab¨± San¨¡ al-I£¿fah¨¡n¨© to the methodology of commentary
