Social media tools which are being operated via internet effects social competence, the occupation perception and the communication choices of the users. The perception (attitude) of the users has to be recognized in order to define the level of usage and usage purpose of social media which the users spent most of their time. The main aim of this research is to present the attitude of the teacher candidates with regards to the usage of social media. In the research which was designed in accordance with the survey model that was developed by Otrar and Arg£¿n (2015), social Media Attitude Scale has been used. The population consists of 285 teacher candidates which are studying within the senior class of £¿n£¿n¨¹ University Faculty of Education during 2016-2017 academic year. As a result of the analysis which was performed with the statistics software, it has been discovered that the department which is being studied, the condition whether there is an internet connection or not, whether owning a computer or not, whether there is a limitation with regards to internet connection or not variables don¡¯t effect; gender, the type of device which is being used to be able to connect to the internet, whether the person has a social media account or not, the purpose of using the internet and internet usage duration variables do effect the attitude of social medi %K sosyal medya %K e£¿itimde sosyal a£¿ %K £¿£¿retmen adaylar£¿ %U http://dergipark.org.tr/mjss/issue/40516/485813
