%0 Journal Article %T A SOCIOLOGICAL VIEW TO ECONOMIC MENTALITY IN WEBER %A Yasemin Apal£¿ %J - %D 2018 %X Max Weber, who is the founder of more than one field of sociology study and had an important place in sociology as an empirical science, is also the founder the sociology of economics. His sociology has a more rational-historical framework. The economic discourses and studies after the emergence of capitalism show that he has an important contribution to the emergence of economics sociology. Weber's approach to modernism was mostly in the plane of social, political and economic problems. In this context, his sociology of economics has an expanding structure within the framework of his works on the economic ethics of world religions. This suggests that he is in an effort to explain and interpret modernity, focusing not only on Germany but on a universal dimension of economics sociology. In the important works that Weber wrote, he states that that religions shape not only social life but economic life at the same time; and shows that there is a connection with the mentality of economic ethics in this framework, and that in this case there are significant influences in shaping the social and political sphere.
