%0 Journal Article %T Opinion and Behaviors of Tatvan Vocational School Students About Milk and Milk Consumption %A Hakan SANCAK %J - %D 2019 %X This study was conducted to determine some demographic information and milk consumption habits of students who studying in Bitlis Eren University Tatvan Vocational School. 112 female (41.03%) and 161 male (58.97%), 273 students in total participated in the survey study. The data obtained from face-to-face interviews were evaluated statistically. In this evaluation, a chi-square test for categorical variables, t-test and analysis of variance for continuous variables was applied. In this study, it was determined that many students were not in the habit of consuming milk (89.01%) and only 11.36% of the participants regularly consumed milk every day. Additionally, it was determined that 47.62% of the participants paid attention to expiration dates when buying milk and 63.74% of the participants were mindful of quality assurance. While 63% of the participants stated that they thought that the societywas not encouraged enough to consume milk, and the most effective methods to encourage the society to consume milk were education/seminars (38.83%) and social media (28.57%). With this study, it was concluded that the most important contribution to the society to benefit of milk by gaining the habit of regular milk consumption, can offer educational activities that will be widespread by using technological opportunities %K S¨¹t t¨¹ketimi %K T¨¹ketici davran£¿£¿lar£¿ %K Tatvan %U http://dergipark.org.tr/huvfd/issue/47022/590872
