The first Kyrgyz ethnographic studies have begun to be gathered by Russian travelers, geographers and missionaries since the mid-XIX century, and since the middle of XX century it has become an independent scientific field. Saul Matveyevich Abramzon, Klavdiya Ivanovna Antipina, T.D. Bayaliyeva, B. Alimayeva, Imel Bakiyevich Moldobayev, A. F. Burkovskiy, A. Zhumagulov and other scientists¡¯ contribution in the development of the Kyrgyz ethnography is great. S.M. Abramzon occupies an important place in the history of Kyrgyz ethnography, and he is also considered its founder. Ethnographic scientific research, which was carried out in the Kyrgyzstan region between 1926 and 1950, is referred to the name of S. M. Abramzon. In particular, his works that include such topics as common ethnographic elements among Kyrgyz and other Turkic peoples increase the value of this scientist even more. Although his works are carried out according to the conditions of the period, it does not remove the fact that Kyrgyz and other Turkic peoples have enormous and eloquent labor in their social, political, economic and cultural structures. In the report, it was attempted to make an analysis based on the work and life of Abramzon, as well as his works that were considered as the main source in terms of writing ethnographic history %K S.
