%X Medication adherence plays a central role particularly in the treatment of chronic diseases. The factors influencing adherence can be categorized into three sections as patient, prescriber and health system related factors. All of them may be optimized by several strategies in order to increase the quality of the care given to patients. This review refers all aspects of adherence in a systematic manner
