%0 Journal Article %T EVALUATION OF THE ANXIETY AND ANGER STATUS OF PATIENTS WITH ENURESIS NOCTURNA AND THEIR MOTHERS %A Zahide Yalaki %J - %D 2019 %X Purpose: The aim of this study was to evaluate the anxiety and anger status of children with primary enuresis nocturna and the behavioral problems of their mothers. Materials and Methods: The study included 97 children diagnosed as primary enuresis nocturna and their mothers. Sixty six healthy children and their mothers were included as control group. All children filled out State-Trait Anxiety Inventory and their mothers filled out Anger Expression Inventory. Findings: The mean of the patients age was 10.44¡À1.18 years. The mean score of State Anxiety Scale in the patient group and control group were 37.96¡À5.21 and 29.31¡À2.45 respectively. The mean score of Trait Anxiety Scale, the patient group and control group were 40.42 ¡À 6.01 and 30.59 ¡À 2.11 respectively (p=0.00; p=0.00). £¿£¿£¿£¿£¿£¿£¿£¿£¿£¿£¿£¿£¿£¿ The mean scores of the anger subgroup of the mothers in the patient group and control group were 30.75¡À3.56 and 19.24¡À3.99 respectively (p =0,00). In the sub-group of anger control, the mean scores of the mothers of £¿patient and control£¿ group were 17.38 ¡À 4.74 £¿and 24.06 ¡À 4.41 (p=0.00). In the sub-group of Anger-Out, the mean scores of the patient and control group were 20.30¡À3.82 and 16.93¡À4.38 (p=0,00) respectively.£¿ In the sub group of Anger-In,£¿ the mean scores of the mothers of patient and control group were 16.98 ¡À 4.31 and 22.22 ¡À 5.10 (p=0.00) respectively.
