%T Multi-Level Migration Governance in the Example of Syrian Asylum Seekers in Turkey

%X The aim of this study is to analyze the governance and implementation dimension of immigration policy in Turkey by taking into account the interactions among government organizations and £¿ivil society actors in the implementation of policy decisions. In this study, semi-structured interviews were conducted in Hatay, Gaziantep, Kilis, and Istanbul to determine the implementation problems of migration policies for Syrian asylum-seekers in Turkey. Within the scope of the fieldwork, we have interviewed approximately a hundred actors who are from government institutions and organizations, municipalities, representatives of local, national and international non-governmental organizations and foreign organizations. The main goal of this study is to examine the migration management efforts in Turkey within the framework of a multi-level governance approach
