The adaptation to Turkish culture of the ¡°Calling and Vocation Questionnaire¡± scale developed by Dik and his colleagues who are the pioneers of the term is the main aim of this study. In this context, at first, several discussions have been made with the academicians in order to translate the term into Turkish and then the term is translated into Turkish as ¡°Meslek A£¿k£¿¡±. The sample of the study consists of pre-school and classroom teachers who work in public schools in Isparta. 370 teachers participated in the study. The validity of the content has been tested and approved in regard to language, scope and structure validity. Excluding 3 items and making 3 improvements from the original 24 item scale, the model with 6 factors in the first level and 2 factors in the second level of the scale provide good fit values. The reliability of the scale is analyzed by internal consistency coefficient and test-retest methods and the scale has been found reliable.
