MaterialsandMethods: The study was carried out by 600 pregnant women who were admitted to the obstetrics and gynecology outpatient clinic of the research hospital in Erzincan. Data of the study was obtained face to face by using the-Pregnancy Information Form and ¡¯Tilburg Pregnancy Distress Scale¡®(TPDS). In the evaluation of the data, number, percentage, mean, Kruskall Wallis Variance analysis, one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA), independent groups t test, Pearson correlation analysis and Mann-Whitney U test were used. Results: The meanage of the pregnant women was 27.42 ¡À 5.36 and 34.3% was in the 17-24 age group. It was determined that 33% of the pregnant (n = 198) experienced distress. It was determined that the pregnant women in terms of age group, education level, working status, level of education, number of pregnancies, abortion / curettage number, number of live births, number of children planned forthe family, health problem sex perienced in previous birth sand postpartum period are significant statistically (p<0.001, p<0.01, p<0.05). Conclusion: It was found that the distress was significant in pregnant women and affected by various factors. The evaluation of women not only from a physiological point of view but also from a psychological point of view during pregnancy will ensure the protection of both mother and fetus / infant health.
