%T Analysis of the Entrepreneurial Skill Levels of the 4th Grade¡¯s Social Studies Teacher Candidates in Relation to a Variety of Variables

%X In this study, the level of entrepreneurship skills of Grade 4 students in the Division of Social Studies Education under Amasya University Education Faculty in the academic year of 2017-2018 are examined. Furthermore, an examination on whether the following variables; family monthly income level, father's occupation, mother's occupation, and the geographical region where the student's city is located, have an impact on their skills was conducted. A quantitative research approach was used in the research. In order to determine the entrepreneurial skill levels of the prospective teachers, the University Students Entrepreneurship Scale, which was developed by Y£¿lmaz&S¨¹nb¨¹l(2009) and consists of 36 items, was used. The scale was applied to the whole of the country with 60 students by using the complete population sampling method and 33 students' data were obtained on the basis of volunteerism and validity. Data was analysed using SPSS 21 (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) program. Frequency, percentage, arithmetic mean and standard deviation values were calculated for descriptive statistical analysis for the students participating in the study. Independent samples t-test and one-way analysis of variance were performed in accordance with the sub-problems of the research in the analysis process. In the research, it was concluded that the social studies teacher candidates' entrepreneurship skills are at a high level. Participants' entrepreneurship levels were found to be significantly different depending on the father's occupation while the results showed that the entrepreneurship levels of the participants did not show any significant difference according to gender, family monthly income level, mother occupation and geographical region where the cities were located.
