%0 Journal Article %T SYNTHESIS OF SCHIFF BASE COMPLEXES AND INVESTIGATION OF STRUCTURES %A Selma YILDIRIM U£¿AN %J - %D 2019 %X Schiff base compounds are stable, readily synthesizable compounds. Besides, in many fields of chemistry having a wide use field in, engineering, medicine and pharmacy has increased the interest in these compounds and made them widely available in different fields. A new Schiff base ligand, 4-chlorophenylimino-4-methoxysalicylaldehyde was synthesized by the reaction of 4-Methoxysalicylaldehyde and 4-chloroaniline. The colored complexes were synthesized by adding of acetate salts of Co(II), Cu(II) ve Zn(II) to the solution of 4-chlorophenylimino-4-methoxysalicylaldehyde dissolved in methanol.
