In our study, the identity of the Udi people, the acceptance of the Christianity, the events in the process from the early Christian period to the present, the assimilation of the Armenian Gregorian Church to the people and the church of Alban Udi and the reconstruction of the destroyed church structure are examined. In two different periods, the pressure and assimilation efforts of the Armenian Gregorian Church on the Udi community led the researchers to define this community and the Church as the Armenian Church. For this reason, when we look at the western-oriented studies, there is no mention of the Albanians' state and Christian faith that existed in the region for centuries and all the events in the region are built on the Armenian people and the Church. The aim of this study is to eliminate the false perceptions about the people of Alban Udi and their religious beliefs, which continue to live in the direction of the diophysitis teaching, and to show that the Christian faith adopted during the Apostles continued to the present day despite the difficulties. In this research, the works of Russian, Azerbaijani, Armenian and English writers were compared and evaluated objectively as a result of interviews with Alban Udi people and Church officials %K Dinler Tarihi %K Hristiyanl£¿k %K Alban Kilisesi %K Diyofizit %K Kafkasya %K Azerbaycan %K Udi %U http://dergipark.org.tr/sirnakifd/issue/45633/542089
