%0 Journal Article %T Investigation of Combination Abilities and Hybrid Forces of Corn (Zea mays L.) Lines Developed in Central Anatolia Region %A Ahmet BOZDA£¿ %J - %D 2019 %X This study was carried out Konya ecological conditions during 2013-2014 for two years. In the research of corn lines, In order to examine the effects of combination abilities and hybrid powers on grain yield, 12 parental lines and 20 hybrid maize genotypes obtained from hybrids of these lines were grown in a randomized complete blocks with two replications. In this study, combination abilities and hybrid powers of lines were investigated according to the grain yield. In the study, the highest grain yield was obtained from SMB48 x FRB73 hybrid with 1486 kg / da, while the highest heterosis and heterobeltiosis values were 67.11% (SMA11 x FRMO17) and -25.65% (SMA161 x FRB73), respectively. In addition, 6 of the 12 parents used in the study were positive for GKK, which is positive for grain yield, In the case of hybrids, 9 hybrids has positive £¿KK values. In the study, a very wide variation in the yield of the hybrids examined in terms of grain yield shows that this hybrid population has a potential to develop varieties.
