%T Classical Guitar Players¡¯ Views on Using Acrylic Nails

%X The aim of this research is to get the views of classical guitarists using acrylic nails and to give information about acrylic nails to guitarists who have nail problems according to these views. Thus, an alternative to guitarists seeking solutions for nail problems has been tried to be presented. Descriptive survey model was used in this research, which was conducted by quantitative research method. A questionnaire developed by the researcher was used as data collection tool. As a data collection tool, a 5-point Likert type questionnaire was developed by the researcher. While composing the survey, 4 experts using acrylic quotes have been consulted. The reliability of this questionnaire consisting of 19 questions is calculated as 0.72 Cronbach Alpha. The questionnaire which was prepared for the application was applied to 27 people who constitute the study group of this research. This questionnaire was transferred to the interactive environment and delivered to the participants in an interactive way. The study group consisted of classical guitarists who were determined by the snowball sampling method and used or continued to use acrylic nails. The data collected from the questionnaire were analyzed by using descriptive statistical method and the result of the research was reached. As a result, it is possible to say that the participants are satisfied with the use of acrylic nails except the possibility of causing sensation loss and damage to the actual nail
