%0 Journal Article %T On Sufi Personalities Influential in Promulgating Khalidiyya around Bing£¿l %A Mehmet £¿irin Ayi£¿ %J - %D 2018 %X The introduction process of Khalidiyya in Bing£¿l started with the assignment of Sheikh Ali Sebti by Mawlana Khalid to Palu region to offer enlightenment and ershad (guidance) services. Sheikh Ali Sebti spread enlightenment and ershad activities around Bing£¿l after establishing a madrassa (theological school in Islam) and tekke (Islamic monastery) system in Palu. Thus, he met certain families conducting enlightenment and ershad activities. Parts of these families were members of the Qadiriyya tariqa at that period. Sheikh Ali Sebti enabled both the families being the member of Qadiriyya tariqa and Sheikh Abdullah Melekan£¿, Sheikh Ahmed al-£¿an£¿, Sheikh Sulaiman al-K£¿r£¿, Sheikh Ahmed al-Halifan£¿, Ki£¿£¿¡¯l£¿ Sheikh Selim Effendi and Sheikh Ahmed £¿apak£¿£¿r£¿ -who used to conduct the education activities without being a member of any tariqa through the classical eastern madrassa tradition, to pass to the Naqshbandiyya tariqa. These persons aligned themselves to Sheikh Ali Sebti and became influential in promulgating the Khalidi-Naqshi tariqa around Bing£¿l. In this context, Sheikh Abdullah Effendi in Solhan; Sheikh Ahmed al-£¿ani in the centre of Bing£¿l and Az and Sancak regions; Sheikh Sulaiman Effendi in the region including Kur and Uzunsavat villages; Sheikh Ahmed al-Halifani in Karl£¿ova and Erzurum regions; Sheikh Selim Effendi in Ki£¿£¿ and Erzurum regions was influential in promulgating Khalidiyya around the region by performing enlightenment and ershad activities %K Bing£¿l %K Halid£¿lik %K S£¿f£¿ £¿ahsiyetler %K £¿lm£¿ Tedrisat %K £¿r£¿ad Faaliyetleri %U http://dergipark.org.tr/buifd/issue/38775/451307
