%0 Journal Article %T Evaluation of 5th Grade Science Curriculum %A Mecit ASLAN %A Rezzan Zeliha ERDEN %J - %D 2018 %X The purpose of this study is to evaluate 5th grade science curriculum by Tyler¡¯s Objective Based Evaluation Model. Mixed method was used in the research. The research group of the study has formed 325 fifth grade students and 17 science teachers in Van province. The data of the study were collected through the achievement test, observation form and semi-structured interview form developed by the researchers. In the analysis of the data, descriptive statistics, paired samples t-test and ANOVA test were used for quantitative data. Descriptive analysis was used for qualitative data. As a result of the research; it was determined that the curriculum was effective in student success, with only 3 out of 9 of the students' determined achievements.
