For both objectives, the application of scientific methods is necessary to locate mass grave areas and exhume as many complete human remains and artefacts as possible. As a result, the relatives could have the opportunity to receive positively identified and complete remains of their loved ones who are exhumed from the mass graves by archaeologists and anthropologists in this field.
