Currently majority of furniture companies are small or mid-size employing manual processing as well as small scale computer numerical control (CNC) and numerical control (NC) machines. It is well known fact that such equipments are noisy and creates fatigue problems during their operation. In Ankara furniture companies located in Siteler district. This study evaluated overall noise due to operation of furniture within small and medium size company which is in Siteler Ankara. Twenty-one specific points with each production line were considered to determine noise levels and analysis. It seems that over 85 dB(A) noise level with a daily exposure period of 8 hr. was found risky and could create some health concerns for the employees.
