%0 Journal Article %T The Religious and Philosophical Creativity of Suleiman Bakyrgani %A Alyona Baltabayeva %J - %D 2018 %X Suleimen Bakyrgani is one of the highly regarded by Muslims in Central Asia and beyond, the Sufi sheikh and the mystic poet of the XII century. He was an apprentice and successor of the famous Central Asian Sufi sheikh Khoja Ahmed Yasawi. Suleimen Bakyrgani ascribed to such compositions as: Collection of prayers and instructions and two poems about "Bibi Maryam" and "Akhyr zaman". In his works, Hakim Ata examines the fundamentals of the Islamic world view, ways to achieve a mystical communication with God, raises ethical and moral issues. In the presentation of his thoughts Suleimen Bakyrgani was very simple and used mainly folk Turkic poetic forms. He enjoyed great popularity among the people that the legends eclipsed the facts, and on this day we know little about his life, which requires close scientific study. Suleimen Bakyrgani and his philosophical views occupy a special place in the philosophical system of the entire Turkic world. The main theme of Hikmets and works of Suleimen Bakyrgani is permeated with love of God. And this true love of God is immeasurably higher than an allegorical or changeable love for this world and man.
