%0 Journal Article %T EVALUATION OF THE ACADEMIC SUCCESS OF INSTRUCTORS ACCORDING TO STUDENTS OF VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL %A Kas£¿m DEL£¿KANLI %J - %D 2018 %X It¡¯s important that lecturers are evaluated by higher education students in terms of academic success to determine and increase the quality in education. This evaluation will help to overcome deficiencies which have been determined and take actions to make the education better. When the action plans are carried out successfully, the quality in education will increase. In this study, it has been aimed to evaluate the academic success of the instructors and targeted output of some courses which take place in the curriculum from the students¡¯ points of view as a part of the project of development for human resources through vocat£¿onal educat£¿on (HRD-VET). Within the research, Instructors and Course Learning Outcomes Evaluation scale was used as a data gathering instrument. There were two different question groups as A and B. In group A, the instructors were evaluated by being asked 10 questions and in group B, course outcomes were evaluated. The performances of the instructors were graded according to the success level ranging from 0 to 4. The participants were 864 students of Suleymen Demirel University Uluborlu Selahattin Karasoy Vocational High School (USKVHS) in Isparta and it was carried out during 2015-2016 academic year. 12 students were randomly selected for 6 courses in 12 programs. When the academic success of the instructors has been evaluated according to students¡¯ views, it is seen that 33 percent of the instructors got 3.26 to 4.0 points, 56.67 percent of the instructors got 2.51-to 3.25 points and 10 percent of the instructors got 1.76 to 2.50 %K Ba£¿ar£¿ de£¿erlendirme %K meslek y¨¹ksekokulu £¿£¿rencileri %K £¿£¿retim eleman£¿ %U http://dergipark.org.tr/umbd/issue/40464/480725
