The number of soldiers on various fronts during World War I has not been determined with exact figures until now, thus this is only estimated. Unfortunately, it is not certain how many soldiers returned to their country / home in the Ottoman State after the war. One of the most important records related to the related to the enlisted soldiers is the Military Brief Books of the district which are collected in the archive of the National Defense Ministry in Ankara today. According to the Torbal£¿ Military Affairs Department log book records, the number of enlisted soldiers registered in 1888-1899 (except 1893) births, after the World War I and then demobilized, is 391 persons. In this study, an analytic study will be applied on the records, and samples of the 1888 birth certificates will be given as well %K I.
