%0 Journal Article %T Rivoluzione e periferie imperiali: la questione dell¡¯Ucraina nel 1917 %J - %D 2017 %R DOI Code: 10.1285/i22808949a6n2p409 %X The essay deals with the impact of the Russian Revolutions of February and October 1917 on the South-Western regions of the former Tsarist Empire (corresponding to its Ukrainian territories). Within the context of £¿Russia¡¯s continuum of crisis£¿, as some scholars have called the succession of World War, Revolution and Civil War, the Ukrainian national movement made a qualitative leap forward, both in terms of mass mobilization and preparation of plans for autonomy.
