%X This research has the purpose of analyzing the sino-japanese bilateral relations since World War II until now, specifically from the aspects and facts that have affected it politically. In that sense, first, the Second Sino-japanese War is presented as the initial point for evaluating this relationship in the XX century; afterwards, the article evidences the main characteristics of the chinese and japanese foreign policy in the first two decades of the XXI century; finally, the text examines both countries position towards the North Korean nuclear program
