%X Resumen. El presente art¨ªculo tiene como finalidad profundizar y analizar, de una manera reflexiva, la visi¨®n que se tiene de la mujer a trav¨¦s del discurso social cristiano. El proceso de este discurso est¨¢ plasmado en los documentos de la doctrina social de la Iglesia, desde 1891 con Le¨®n XIII, hasta el actual pontificado del papa Francisco. Este asunto es una respuesta a los diversos cambios sociales generados en la historia durante los siglos XIX, XX y los comienzos del tercer milenio. Entre los cuales se resaltan: la revoluci¨®n industrial, la incidencia de los sistemas pol¨ªtico-econ¨®micos del capitalismo y socialismo, las devastaciones de las dos guerras mundiales, el neoliberalismo, la secularizaci¨®n, la globalizaci¨®n, entre otros. Dichos cambios han generado diversas situaciones de vulnerabilidad y discriminaci¨®n, que van en contra de la dignidad de la persona humana representada en el g¨¦nero femenino. Asimismo, se da relevancia a la misi¨®n de la Iglesia en el mudo actual, por medio del discurso social cristiano, en defensa de la dignidad de la persona humana representada en la mujer. Abstract: The objective of this article is to go in depth and present in a reflexive way, how the woman is considered through the Christian social discourse. The process of this discourse is mentioned in documents from the social doctrine of the Church, since 1891 with Le¨®n XIII, to the current papacy of pope Francisco. This process is an answer given by all of the social changes through the history of the XIX and XX centuries and the beginning of the third millennium. Among all of them the following highlight: the industrial revolution, the influence of political and economic systems of the capitalism and socialism, the devastation of the two world wars, the neoliberalism, secularization, the globalization, etc. Those changes have generated different situations of vulnerability and discrimination, that go against the dignity of a human represented by the female gender. Inaddition, this gives relevance to the Church¡¯s mission nowadays, through the Christian social discourse, in defense of the dignity of a human represented by the female gender. R¨¦sum¨¦ Le but de cet article est d¡¯approfondir et de pr¨¦senter d¡¯une mani¨¨re r¨¦flexive, la vision des femmes ¨¤ travers le discours social Chr¨¦tien. Le processus de ce discours est incarn¨¦ dans les documents de la doctrine sociale de l¡¯¨¦glise, de1891 avec L¨¦on XIII, ¨¤ l¡¯actuel pontificat du pape Fran£¿ois.
