%X The world rapid developments in terms of population growth and the steady increase in the number of people in addition to the energy crisis and the problems resulting from the dramatic energy consumption and their negative effects on the environment pollution, have raised the attention various world countries, whether exporter or importer of energy. Hence, the call will continue to deal with the environment in a more balanced way, especially by planners, architects and designers, to search for alternatives for planning and designing of modern cities by taking advantage of new sources of energy, including natural and renewable energies. This paper studies the general concepts of sustainability and the impact of sustainability as well as the understanding of the relationship between the ecosystem and human activities and the urban environment, as well as to know the extent of what can be reflected on urbanization in general, in the event of the application of the principle of sustainability and communication.
