%T Present Situation of Crisis Management in Basic and Secondary Schools at Al Mahweet Governorate

%X This study aimed to examine the present situation of crisis management in basic and secondary schools at Al Mahweet Governorate. It also aimed to identify any differences among the participants¡¯ responses that could be attributed to the research variables. In order to achieve these objectives, the researcher followed a descriptive analytical method. Data were collected using a questionnaire after checking its reliability and validity. The study results revealed that the present situation of crisis management at schools in Al Mahweet received an average score in three areas: leadership, planning of crisis management and crisis management teams, while the score was low in two areas: information and communication. The findings also revealed that there were no statistically significant differences at (¦Á=0.05) among the participants¡¯ responses attributed to the research variables which were qualification, education level and years of experience. The study concludes with a number of suggestions and recommendations.
