This article aims to investigate the state-of-the-art of translator’s style research at abroad. By employing the 111 articles sourced from the core collection database of Web of Science and aided by Biblioshiny, a visualized bibliometric analysis of aboard studies on translator’s style was conducted from aspects, like annual scientific production, source dynamics, key researchers, most cited documents, research focus and research frontiers. The results are as follows: 1) Translator’s style studies are mainly based on literary translations, supplemented by court interpreting records, recipes, and leaders’ speeches; 2) Translator’s style studies are mainly conducted based on the method of corpus, supplemented by quantitative and qualitative analysis; 3) These studies are described from various angles and on various linguistic levels, but these descriptions center on lexical, syntactical, discourse levels and the like, in the texts and the translators’ psychological activities, life background, social environment and choice of translation strategies. In general, the research parameters and research methods of the translator’s style lack clear definitions and regulations, and the research objects are too singular. Therefore, this study suggests that the definition of translator’s style needs to be more accurate and the future studies on translator’s style could be more comprehensive.
