Objective: To explore the application
and effect of Lesson presentation in clinical nursing teacher training in
surgical intensive care unit (SICU). Methods: The process of
“Training-Demonstration- Practice-Evaluation” was implemented in 15 nursing
backbones who were selected by the cluster sampling method as nursing teachers
in 8 weeks. The progress status of lesson presentation was compared through
mutual evaluation between experts and peers, and the teaching ability was
compared through individual self-evaluation before and after training. Results:
After two rounds of training, 15 participants could master the method of the
lesson presentation, and all of them were able to carry on teaching design
according to the purpose of teaching and syllabus. However the use of
professional foreign language vocabulary in the teaching design was generally
less (P > 0.05). Participants’
self-evaluation of teaching ability and mutual evaluation of teaching implementation
after two rounds of lesson presentation were significantly improved (P < 0.05). Conclusions: Organizing clinical nursing teachers to participate in lesson presentation training can improve the teaching ability of participants, enhance the teaching quality of clinical teaching team and the effect of clinical teaching, and thus achieve patient benefit goals.
