%T Molecular interaction studies of methyl acetate with o/p/m-xylene by the ultrasonic measurements

%X The ultrasonic velocity, density and viscosity are measured for the binary mixtures of methyl acetate with xylene (o, p, and m) were made at 301K. From these measurements the adiabatic compressibility, acoustic impedance, free length, free volume, Wada¡¯s constant and Rao constant have been evaluated. The experimental and related acoustical parameters have been utilized to discuss about the molecular interactions. These indicate weak interactions occurred in the systems
