%X Efficient methodology for the synthesis of unrecorded series of heterocycles based carbazole sub-structure is reported.    Carbazole heterocycles have been synthesized by employing 3-(9H-carbazol-9-yl)propanoic acid 1 as starting material. The precursor 3-(9H-carbazol-9-yl)propanehydrazide 3 was synthesized by reaction of ethyl 3-(9Hcarbazol-    9-yl)propanoate 2 with hydrazine hydrate in ethanol. The structures of synthesized compounds were confirmed on the    basis of their elemental analysis and spectral results (IR, 1H and 13C NMR).
